Within the framework of its research programming, IFAS-Research finances research projects to be carried out in 2017 in the Human and Social Sciences dealing with this area (fieldwork, events or publications).\u00a0 Nationality will not be a condition for application, although the existence or prospect of a long-lasting partnership between France and Southern Africa is essential. Financial contribution from another institution is highly desirable.<\/p>\n<p>All applications will be taken into consideration. However priority will be given to applicants whose research is in line with the main research programs of the Institute:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Archaeology and Prehistory<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Medieval, Early Modern and Contemporary History of Southern African Societies<\/li>\n<li>Contemporary Dynamics: Urbans Studies, Democratic and Economic Transformations<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>A specific interest will be shown to transregional projects, projects that challenge epistemological borders and proposals dealing with Lusophone Africa. Dans le cadre de sa programmation scientifique, l\u2019IFAS-Recherche finance en 2017 un certain nombre de projets de recherche en sciences humaines et sociales portant sur cet espace (terrains, manifestations scientifiques ou publications). Aucune condition de nationalit\u00e9 ne s\u2019applique mais l\u2019existence, ou la perspective, d\u2019un partenariat durable entre la France et l\u2019Afrique australe est essentielle.\u00a0 \u00a0La participation financi\u00e8re d\u2019une autre institution est souhaitable.<\/p>\n<p>Toutes les demandes seront prises en consid\u00e9ration. Cependant les projets en rapport avec les axes de recherche de l\u2019Institut auront la priorit\u00e9\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p>1. Arch\u00e9ologie et pr\u00e9histoire<\/p>\n<p>2. Histoire m\u00e9di\u00e9vale, moderne, et contemporaine des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s de l\u2019Afrique australe<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Dynamiques contemporaines\u00a0: \u00e9tudes urbaines, mutations d\u00e9mocratiques et \u00e9conomiques<\/p>\n<p>Une attention particuli\u00e8re sera port\u00e9e aux projets transr\u00e9gionaux, au d\u00e9senclavement des savoirs et aux propositions portant sur l\u2019Afrique lusophone.
